No Telemetry, No Servers

Locanox is designed from the ground up to function without surveillance, tracking, or third-party monitoring. Unlike traditional applications that quietly collect usage statistics, send crash reports, or log activity to remote servers, Locanox runs in total isolation by default. There’s no cloud dependency, no analytics engine, and no background process attempting to “optimize” your experience at the cost of your privacy.
This approach ensures that nothing you do inside Locanox is ever seen, stored, or analyzed. Whether you’re using the offline AI, generating a wallet, or storing encrypted data, everything remains entirely within your device. When online features are enabled, communication still happens through anonymous relays, not centralized APIs, and never includes identifiable metadata.
🔐 Key Principles
• Zero telemetry
Locanox does not log, monitor, or report user activity, not even anonymously.
• No crash reporting
If something breaks, it stays local. No logs are sent or stored externally.
• No centralized analytics
There’s no third-party SDK or background service phoning home.
• Offline by default
All components run fully local unless you explicitly enable Private Online Mode.
• Ephemeral relays when online
When you go online, only encrypted relay channels are used, never your IP or personal ID.
What This Means for You
The no-telemetry approach provides several key benefits:
- Complete Privacy: Your usage patterns, preferences, and data never leave your device
- No Profiling: No behavioral tracking or user profiling for advertising or analytics
- Transparent Operation: You know exactly what the app is doing because it’s not hiding background processes
- Reduced Attack Surface: No external connections means fewer potential security vulnerabilities
- True Ownership: Your data belongs to you, not to third parties collecting “anonymous” statistics
This design philosophy ensures that Locanox remains a tool that serves you, not surveillance capitalism or data collection interests.
